Welcome to the world of Kleinwelt!

What is it?

Critters of Kleinwelt (kline-velt) is a work-in-progress tabletop role-playing game inspired by animal xenofiction book series like Redwall (Brian Jacques) and Mistmantle (M. I. Mcallister).

Play as a wide variety of small mammals such as a mouse, hare, or even otter! Bring your friends along on an adventure to save the world--or destroy it?

Features:

• Simple(ish) rules based on rolling a single 20-sided die.

• Three classes, each with two subclasses

Development/Background:

Critters of Kleinwelt started out as a small, for-fun project that I worked on every once in a while in my free time, but quickly grew to become a genuine (and fairly involved) passion project. I've always been a big fan of animal xenofiction, and hold a lot of nostalgia for the genre as a whole. It will continue to be developed as I get the chance to playtest and add to what I already have. Comments and suggestions are super appreciated!

Although primarily a ruleset intended to be applied to homebrew settings, I've included the map and worldbuilding information I've created for my own campaign, which you are more than free to use as is, or tweak, twist, and mold to fit your own ideas!
